About Us

Pronounced like ‘I go to school’, the Traveling Igoes have been traveling for years, but since our family has grown (and continues to grow), we want to offer our insights into what it is like to travel as a family. You’ll hear from my wife, Alyson, my 13 year old, Eileen, my 8 year old, Jonathan, and eventually, my newly born daughter, Clara (as well as myself).

My wife and I have been traveling since we were little with our families, and now that our own family is almost complete, we want to share those experiences. Our idea in creating a blog started when my kids got passport books to the National Parks, and have since wanted to plan trips around getting more stamps, stickers and Junior Rangers badges.

Since there are so many sites that are part of the National Park Service, they have not been hard to include, but our journeys will not be limited to just parks, but include beaches, cities and foreign countries.

We hope that our experiences can offer you insights on things you might be able to do with your kids so that the whole family can enjoy traveling together. For more information on each of us, please click the links above. Thanks…
